End of working

I already resign. my last day was 30th of july. returned every kino properties already on 1st august and also treat my colleagues with McD ice-cream ~now can start revision for college~

it's a small world after all

I chat with my music tutor, Mr David after our class. He was my form 6 senior after all! When he was in form 6, he also went to the same tuition center as I do for Physics. We went to the famous Mr Huan's at the Petaling Street. The funny part was Mr David called Mrs Huan in charge for the admin. He recalled that Mrs Huan will always come to ask for fee every early of the month and when students didn't pay, she will shout the student name from outside of the class. During my time she was like that too. Mr David about 5-6 years older than me so Mrs Huan didn't changed after all.......hehe

petrol price increase rm0.70 from midnight

the prime minister of malaysia, datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced price hikes for petrol, diesel and electricity. He said the new price for petrol is RM2.70 a litre, effective midnight tonight. The price goes up by 78sen from the current RM1.92, a hike of 40%. Abdullah also announced that the price of diesel would be increased by RM1 from RM1.58 to RM2.58. He also said that Tenaga Nasional Bhd would be raising electricity rates by 18% for homes and 26% for business users. talking about increase of price in petrol, my dad called me to go fill up the fuel as much as possible. so i went around 11.30pm. there are 3 petrol stations at my place which is side by side. once i reached there, there is a massive traffic jam, all cars are not moving. there are cars came from the opposite side, cars went into the petrol station of the way out and also people brought containers to fill the petrol! i got stuck in th middle. everyone don't want give way to me. other cars brought partner with them so that their partner can go to pay first and i am alone so everybody bully me T_T...... i waited almost midnight. it is going to midnight and my heart is beating very fast. suddenly, the left lane is empty. i quickly drive to there and fast as lightning go pay and fill the tank. yeah, i get to save the rm0.70!

kinokuniya 2008 stock date!

it is a important day for kino! where the whole store books and magazines are being counted precisely, hand counted and scanned one by one. kino is so damn big and there are thousand or maybe million of books are there, how on earth we going to do stock date? like this, all of the staffs must co-operate. all staffs must present. kino is closed only for that day. it start at 7am but i reached at 8am (oh gosh!) i had to scan the wall shelf and island shelf. wall shelf is so tall need to climb up. my both hands are hurt. the process of stock date took about 7 hours. after complete, the retail staffs are busy display their books and magazines while, the store operation staffs (cashiers) so free. i hang out at the magazine section, browsing magazines. there are glasses and customers can see through. they feel weird why kino is closed but there are people inside. my friend, li peng joked that customers though it is vip day.only vip customers can entered kino. we did put notice that we will be closing for stock date. there was a lady customer screaming at the entrance said she didn't see the notice and putting notice is useless. we should inform them. i think every big book shops in malaysia will do the same too. close for stock date. is this her first visit to a book shop? anyway, it is so much fun. it gave me time to really check up what books kino has! it is amazing, the book collections there are good! i am not bragging because i worked there but really! i once heard from our raja perak told his wife while he buying books here. he said about a book printed in london but hasn't out at london and kino is selling the book already.

if u just realize what i just realize

today weather is like usual very hot in the mid day later it rain heavily. i am working. behind a payment counter there is very big window which can see the klcc fountain. it was night n after raining. it was misty n cold it remind me of the time when i was working at genting during midnight shift. the restaurant has big window too. genting always cold n misty. just feel like back in genting again!

something funny incident happened at work. a customer came to the counter with a book. of course we scan the book n stamp the 'k' stamp at the barcode thinking the customer want to purchase it. the customer ask us why the book is so expensive n ask for a paper to take down the title because he want to make up his mind whether to buy it or not. he told us to keep at the counter for him. that show him at first didn't look at the price before he came to the counter n who does he think he is for keeping book at counter. so sorry our counter is full of plastics bags, paper bags n stuff. want us to keep a book for customer, please proceed to the customer service counter. we cashier also don't have the authority to reserved book at the counter. duh, i so pissed off. do u think he deserve some slaps at the face n some kicks at a$$?

today also was my first time to see a pregnant woman's stomach bulging. the baby is kicking inside!. so fascinating! it was my collegaue. she is pregnant with a baby boy. she said one time she was in the lrt n it was so crowded. a man was so near in front of her n the baby was kicking. he got shocked! can't wait to see her baby, if i had chance

i want to learn piano!!!

one new goal has aded to my list that is LEARN TO PLAY PIANO! when i was ten, i learnt to play organ but didn't finish the course coz that time my parents were making fuss about the 'expensive' fee. this whole feeling come back because i just after watching jay chou's movie 'secret'. the story is duh like when playing the piece of music on piano n u able to go to the next 20 years. but the end part is sooooo sad.....
